Apple iPhone With Many Smart Features

At the Mac World Expo of 2007, Apple Computer introduced
a revolutionary new device called the iPhone to compete
with smart phones. But, the Apple iPhone is more than
a well-designed and beautifully packaged smart phone,
as it is also a major advancement in the convergence
of the technology that consumers demand today.
The Apple iPhone is first and foremost a wireless phone
device. It is also an MP3 music player and video player
(would you expect less from the innovators of the iPod?),
an internet surfing device and a digital camera all
in one unit. Similar to its Apple cousins such as the
iPod Video and iPod Nano, the iphone is slim, sleek
and stylish.
iPhone With A Widescreen iPod Function
Steve Jobs, who founded Apple over 20 years ago and
who leads Apple’s innovators, anticipates that the new
Apple iPhone will immediately be well received and that
there will be more than 10 million iPhones sold by end
of 2009. Die-hard Apple aficionados, however, expect
that is a low estimate because of almost four years
of anticipation for the new device.
One of the unique features of the Apple iPhone is the
widescreen iPod function that touts touch screen controls
which allow you to easily find and enjoy all of your
media content, including your songs, audiobooks, movies
and TV shows. The bright and sharp display is an amazing
3.5 inch widescreen format, providing unparalleled viewing
for such a device.
Scrolling Through Your Playlists
iPhone users are able to review their options and visually
scroll through their collection of songs, albums, artists
or playlists with just a simple stroke of the finger.
One great feature is that the new unit can display album
cover artwork so that you are able to use a cool feature
called "cover flow" to browse through your
musical library by viewing the album artwork. This is
a feature Mac computer users are familiar with and,
as well, the iPhone can easily sync up your content
from the iTunes library on your Mac or PC.
As far as the cell phone functions of the new Apple
iPhone is concerned, it stands apart from any competing
phone with its ease of use and simple visual access.
You can initiate a call just by pointing with your finger
at a name or a number in the address book, in a favorites
list or from your call log.
Scrolling Your Messages And Syncing With Your PC Or Mac
All the contacts on your computer, Mac or PC or other
device, will automatically sync. And, voicemail has
a new wrinkle on the iPhone. You can scroll through
a list of voice messages and listen to the ones you
want to and in the order you want to, just like you
do with your email. Calls are seamlessly merged with
a quick touch of a button, creating conference calls
on-the-fly.
With the iPhone, you can enjoy text messaging with
SMS software that has a predictive QWERTY keyboard that
corrects mistakes. Since it is a "soft" keyboard,
it is larger than anything found on other smart phones
and it gets completely out of your way when not needed.
Includes A Digital Camera With Digital Software
Integrated into the Apple iPhone is also a 2-megapixel
digital camera, with a hearty photo management application
that is completely different from anything else available
on the market. You can sync the photos to your computer,
email them or browse them with a touch of the screen.
With a twist of the wrist, changing the orientation
of the phone automatically changes the orientation of
the screen from landscape to portrait, giving you the
best view of the photo seamlessly.
Safari Browser To Surf Online
The iPhone also features the Safari browser, a favorite
Mac software and you can automatically sync your bookmarks
from your Mac or PC. Safari has built-in search functions
powered by Google and Yahoo! and you can read a web
page at the same time that you are downloading your
email in the background.
For the person who is on-the-go and who would like
one device to replace three or four, the Apple iPhone
is a well put-together package that is on the cutting
edge of technology. This iphone will likely revolutionize
communications devices just as Apple revolutionized
music devices.
