Background Videos Help Spread The Message

By Jane Lovell

Background videos can be used in movies, tv and special events. You may go to an art exhibition and notice background videos to highlight aspects of the exhibition. For example, the art exhibition may be on the works of Picasso and the background clips may be of Picasso at work and showing different events in his life. Videos make the exhibition much more interesting, not only showcasing the works of the artist but showing the artist in motion.

It is easy to use background videos to reinforce aspects of an event. You may be at a corporate event, it may be the launch of a new product. The speaker may be spruiking about the advantages of the product, but background videos will reinforce the best use of the product. It may be the introduction of a new camera by Nikon. The background videos will show clips of the camera in use to shoot fantastic images.

If you want to review your options and highlight a specific point about a product or a service, then using background videos will help to get your message across your audience.

Ancient Video Conferencing

When I first began to study video production, I assumed that the use of background videos and other forms of stock footage would be waning. It was so easy, after all, to create synthetic images then why would people still use stock ones? Its did not make sense to me.

Nonetheless, I realized that things aren’t as easy as they seem. Background video clips will have a place in the media for years to come. In fact, they are around us more than ever before.

Background Videos On A Web Page

Almost all of us have seen web page background movies by now. It makes sense to use background videos for this kind of application. After all, most people who design and build web pages do not have access to a studio. They could not create their own video clips by themselves.

It is possible to do animation, but it is still time consuming. No matter how good the technology gets, it still takes an artist to sit down and make it work. Background videos solve this problem. They allow you to play any images that you want with a minimum of trouble. Many of them are sold cheaply, and are well within the price range of most web designers.

Worships Background Videos In Church

What I didn’t realize is the number of places where background videos are used. People actually use worships background videos in church. It seemed uncanny to me, and I have never been exposed to it before. You see, I grew up in a pretty traditional church. When we worship, we either prayed together I sat in silence.

I seemed that this was the only way to go. However, many of the mega-churches prefer using background videos to set an ambiance. They will show pictures of rippling water, inspirational footage of crosses, or the like. They believe that these background worship videos get people in the right mood to pray.

Background Videos In Movies And TV

Most background videos, however, are still used in movie or on TV. This is far and away the most common place for them. You see, stock footage will always have its place. It doesn’t make sense to film an explosion, for example, every time a movie calls for one. You can set the scene, portraying the major landmarks from practically any city in the world, all without paying to film new footage.

If you don’t use background videos for these applications, you have to get permits, schedules shoots, and spend days filming some simple background footage. It just doesn’t make sense to do it that way!

Create Your Own Movies With Background Videos

If you want to create your own movies, you can make simple background videos or you can use simple clips to use in your movies. You can easily edit the video clips in Premiere Pro and add it to your movie. You may be shooting a video of a birthday party and you may want to include short background clips of the birthday boy growing up. You can add these little background clips to your movie and give the movie to the birthday boy as his birthday present, from you.

When you go on your overseas vacation, you may want to create a movie of your adventures. You can connect short clips of all the places you go to and then make your movie and show the movie to your friends and family. You may even decide to place some of your clips as background videos in other movies you create.

You will eventually have a stock of video clips you want to use in your movies. You may place some of these movies on a web site, or send the movie on DVD to friends and family.

What are the advantages of hiring a professional?
The main advantage to hiring a professional wedding photographer is experience. Most wedding photographers have experience dealing with many different individuals and difficult personalities. They have faced unfavorable weather conditions, and encountered technical problems.

Since they specialize in photography, they are well equipped to handle various wedding sizes or photo demands. Unlike a friend or relative of the couple, a professional photographer’s main goal is capturing candid moments on film.

Knowing they are depended on delivering superior photos that will be cherished for years to come, they are less apt to be carried away by aspects of the ceremony.

With an event that allows no second chances, hiring a professional is a good investment that will help keep your memories of your special day around for years.
