Custom Picture Framing Tips And Ideas

Showing the people in your life how much they mean
to you can be difficult and even more so when you are
trying to come up with gift ideas for them. The next
time you are faced with this dilemma, consider creating
a custom picture frame to show how special they are
to you. This requires only a small amount of time, but
your thoughtfulness is something they will remember
for years to come.
If you are trying to come up with an idea for a wedding
gift for that special couple, then why not take a copy
of their wedding invitation and create a great customized
wood picture frame for it. You can paint it with the
wedding colors, perhaps adding their names and date
to it as well.
Digital Frame Slide Show With Photos From Their Wedding
If you prefer, you can just design the frame and give
that to them so they can put a wedding picture inside
of it. Or, for a more modern twist, consider creating
a digital frame slideshow that you have loaded with
the amazing photos you shot at their wedding. The happy
couple can always update the slideshow at any time to
include other favorite photos; wedding or otherwise.
If the gift is for the parents of a new baby, then
you can make a custom picture frame that will match
the baby's room. You can either choose to add a picture
of the baby or frame one of the baby announcements for
them to enjoy.
Engraved With The Child's Name And Date Of Birth
Consider the possibility of getting a silver picture
frame and having it engraved with the child's name and
date of birth for a special baby picture frame that
they will love and cherish.
Of course, creating a custom frame does not mean that
it has to be a traditional wood picture frame. These
days an LCD digital picture frame is a great way to
display special photos in a unique way. You can either
pre-load the frame with pictures or simply give the
frame as a gift and the recipient can add their own
photographs at their convenience.
Loading Favorite Images
If creating a digital, custom picture slideshow sounds
like something that would be a great gift idea for someone
you know, then all it takes is some digital photos and
a little time.
If you need a great gift for grandparents, then consider
loading a digitized frame with pictures that are special
to them, such as photos of their grandchildren. You
can even choose to add sound to the frame, such as music
or perhaps a message from the grandchildren.
Family Pictures Taken Through The Years
If your parents have an anniversary coming up, then
you can always load a digital photo frame with family
pictures that have been taken throughout the years and
display it for the duration of the event.

What type of care should be taken with picture frames?
You may see people using a spray
cleaner directly on a picture frames glass surface but
do not do this.
The cleaner can seep into the
frame and destroy the picture inside as well as cause
the frame to swell and crack if it is a wood frame.
If you want to clean the frame you should take a soft
cloth and gently dust the frame.
If there are smudges on the glass,
spray a gentle cleaner directly onto the cloth and then
wipe the glass. Try to avoid using paper towels as they
can often leave behind debris that you will have to
remove.
A soft, dry rag is often the
best cleaning tool you can have if you want your picture
frame to last a long time.
