Digital Scrapbooking Tips And Editing Your Images With Photoshop
By Sylvia Adolvana
You may be looking for digital scrapbooking tips, to
create a better quality digital scrapbook. There are
a number of quality digital scrapbooking programs, but
not many are able to edit images with the options you
need, to create perfect images.
Photo editing software with scrapbooking options are
available, but you may find they are rather limiting
in their options. What you may need is quality scrapbooking
software or an online scrapbooking solution and a separate
quality image editing software to create your images
for digital scrapbooking.
Editing Your Images With Adobe Photoshop
One tip, for quality photo editing software, is Adobe
Photoshop. You can do all the hard work to edit your
images with Photoshop and then take the images and upload
them to create fun, fancy scrapbooking work online or
import the images to your digital scrapbooking software.
There are many ways to review your options for editing
your images with professional image editing software
like Photoshop. Here are a few tips you can use to adjust
your images with Photoshop.
Correcting, Adjusting, Adding Text And Special Effects
Using software like Photoshop, allows you to adjust
your images by adjusting settings for auto color, contrast
and brightness corrections.
You can also add text and special effects to make
the images much more interesting. Creating better images,
allows you to include better photos in your digital
scrapbook.
Red Eye And Teeth Whitening
If you take images of people with a flash on your digital
camera and you notice the red-eye effect, then it is
easy to remove the red eyes and correct the image with
Photoshop. Some digital cameras even do that while taking
the picture, cutting out the requirement for photo editing
to adjust for red eye.
Teeth whitening involves a little more knowledge, but
it is not difficult to adjust the colour of teeth. The
process involves creating layers, select the offcolor
areas of the teeth and then lightening with the brightness
control.
Another option is to change the colour of teeth in
the selected areas to white. These procedures become
much easier, once you are more familiar with the software.
Many of these procedures can be automated, speeding
up the process, especially if you have many images.
Painting Out People
If there are people in the photo you need to take out
of the image, then you can use tools such as layers
and cloning brushes, to paint out the person, out of
the image. This is often a better option than cropping,
especially if a person is among other people you want
to keep in the image.
Merging Images To Create One Image
You may have two images, but there are aspects of both
images you want to keep out and other aspects you want
to keep. With layers, you can place the images in separate
layers in Photoshop and make adjustments to each the
images, and then you can finally merge the two images
to create one image.
Using these tips for using Adobe Photoshop, using the
help file and detailed step by step tutorials, will
help to improve your images when creating your digital
scrapbook with better digital scrapbooking tips.
