may be very time consuming, it will be a real help to
you. You will stand a much better chance of obtaining
a small business loan from the bank if you can present
a viable business plan.
It is also helpful to you because you will be asking
yourself questions that are actually pretty important.
For example, is there something unique or superior your
graphic design company can offer that will set you apart
from all of the other businesses? What is it that is
going to put your company way ahead of the competition?
A Good Portfolio To Attract Customers
Having a good solid portfolio is crucial when you are
trying to obtain customers. It is your chance to make
a lasting first impression and potential clients looking
for graphic design services will usually compare portfolios
before making a decision on who gets the job.
Many business owners say that starting out as a freelancer
helped them to eventually form their own companies.
So, if you are still a little nervous about creating
your own graphic design company, then consider going
freelance.
Of course there are down sides too, such as determining
if you have enough money saved to get through a dry
spell or two? There are many questions you should ask
yourself before jumping in with both feet.
