Movie Clips Are A Summary Of A Complete Movie

By Judd Walker

Movie clips have been quite popular for years. They contain a small grab from a movie to attract an audience to see a new movie, showing at a movie theatre near you. It may even be a movie clip from a movie that is to be shown on TV, or available for purchase on DVD.

Movie clips can be for movies that are only available online, or prior to ordering a DVD you can view a clip from a movie, to decide if you wish to purchase the DVD.

Most movie clips are an announcement for a movie i.e. it is an advertisement for a soon to be released movie or a movie currently showing. The movie clip is short, usually one minute or less. A lot of these clips are also available online at online DVD stores or dedicated movie sites.

One of the best things about the Internet for movie lovers is that there is so much to see and do. You can find and download movie clips, though most of these will be promotional trailers.

Movie clips are made to draw you in, but be aware that they are not always what they seem. I have seen quite a few movie clips that in reality had nothing to do with what a movie was really was.

Movie Clips Are Trailers

This has happened to me quite a few times, and there is something disheartening about that. I know that a trailer is designed to lure you into seeing the movie, but they should always make sure they are showing what the movie is really about without misdirection.

If you have ever watched movie clips and thought you knew what a movie was about, only to watch the movie and see something else entirely, you know what I mean.

Movie Clips Online

Most movie clips are about a minute long, but you may be able to find longer ones online. You may even be able to find entire movies online, but you do have to be careful with this.

If the movie is new, you have to realize that you are probably watching a bootleg, and if you get caught with it, you could be in a lot of trouble. If it is an older movie, it might be okay.

However, you still might be watching something that should not be available online. That is the chance you will be taking if you watch it. Some people care, and others do not.

If you can’t seem to find the right movie clips online, you can try to look on your cable system. Some digital cable systems have a new movie preview channel, but I’m not sure how common this is.

You can usually find movie clips from movies that are going to be on pay per view, and this is a great way to decide if you want to pay three dollars to view it, or if you can wait for it to come to HBO.

You can even join movie clubs where you can be shown lots of movie clips of movies available for purchase on DVD. View the DVD and then decide which movie clips you like best and then purchase the DVDs. With club membership you get the benefit of paying lower prices for the DVDs than if you bought the DVDs from a store or online.

Being a movie club member has its benefits. A lot of the movie clubs have online sites to view the movie clips online.
