Nanny Cameras To Monitor A Stranger With Your Child

By G L Harris

Nanny cameras are popular these days as video recording devices to confirm if any abuse or violence by the babysitter was directed to your child, while you were away.

A lot of parents are concerned when they leave a child with a nanny, that the child will not suffer any form of injury or abuse while they are away. To allay these fears they usually place a small nanny camera in a number of rooms, hidden in areas around the home.

After you come home, you can review the recordings and see if anything untoward happened to your child. If nothing happened, then it is confirmed by the recordings.

Peace of Mind

This gives you a peace of mind that everything was okay with your child, especially when you leave your child with a stranger.

Consider the situation, where you’re headed out on a date with your spouse. Of course you’re excited! This is, after all, the first date the two of you have had in over a year.

You will only spend a few hours out together, into the night. But you have a few trepidations about the health and well being of your child, in the hands of a stranger, for the first time.

Finally, you’re going to take a step away from your baby. Your one year old daughter will surely be fine with the babysitter you’ve hired for the evening.

She does come recommended through a friend and what is there to really worry about? Hmm, should you really ask this question?

Nanny cameras are your eyes and ears

There are plenty of things to worry about, but if you sat and dwelled on every possibility, you’d go insane. Let technology lend you a helping hand. It’s time to enter the world of nanny cameras. These high-tech micro devices will be your eyes and ears while you’re away.

You can hide them virtually anywhere. In the VCR, the smoke alarm, the light fixture, or the bookshelf.

Tiny nanny cameras are as covert as you’ll come by in a traditional family home. Plus, you can even purchase nanny cameras that are all ready to go.

Hide your nanny camera

Buy them stashed in a false book, lamp, coffee maker, or picture. It’s really up to you. Personally, I do have to recommend the use of nanny cameras for all parents who use babysitters and nannies.

It’s extremely difficult to trust folks now days. How can you possibly know that they’re taking care of your most precious gift while you’re not around?

The only way to have peace of mind is by keeping a watchful eye out. You can place a nanny camera in each room of your home, or simply in the main rooms where people hang out.

Watch the recordings

This way your child and the babysitter will be recorded. Watch the recordings of them after you return home and see exactly what went on.

Obviously if your child is an infant or toddler, he/she will not be able to tell you personally. This is why it’s up to you to record it and see for yourself.

I’m not going to sugar-coat it. Some parents have encountered nasty things caught on nanny cameras. I recall one incident where a babysitter punched the infant in the face.

Luckily the child did not die. The whole ordeal was caught on a nanny camera. The woman was arrested and imprisoned shortly after. It’s our duty as parents to watch out for our little ones.

Nanny cameras are available online and in stores

Nanny cameras can be bought online and your local electronic store. Just look for them in spy stores, there’s always a few there.

There are so many stories about babysitters and nannies abusing children that you need to make sure nothing happens to your child, while you are not there to look out for your child.

Having a nanny camera, is like you being there to guard your child.
