Remote Surveillance - For The Safety And Security
Of Your Home And Family
By G L Harris
Remote surveillance security cameras are becoming increasingly
popular and used to combat the increasing rate of home
invasions and burglaries. Quite often, home invasions
occur against defenceless families and include damage
to property.
If you want to defend your home against unwelcome intruders,
then you could install an infrared remote surveillance
security camera system to keep the unwelcome criminal
element out of your home.
This way you can be alerted if anyone is attempting
to enter your home.
How well guarded is your home? Do you feel totally
safe when inside it? I think about this on a fairly
regular basis. It’s not me that I’m concerned with,
but my three girls.
I have a wife, teenager and seven-year-old. It’s my
responsibility to keep them safe and protected. At least
this is the way I feel. When I glance up at the window
in my living room, I think to myself, "Wow, I could
smash that glass from the outside and penetrate this
home in seconds." That’s just too easy. I don’t
like those odds.

If I can do this, then so can a number of criminals.
So, I am looking into having Plexiglas installed on
the main floor. This would certainly help to keep the
bad element out. Of course there are a lot of other
things you can do as well.
Ever heard of infrared cameras and remote surveillance
systems?
What would be the ideal security system for your home?
To be honest, all homes are a little different, but
basically the same in structure.
Keeping out Intruders
We’re talking wood and bricks here. Unless you have
a steel fortress, you fall into this basic category.
Now, how can you safety-proof your home? How can you
be certain to keep the predators out?
What about wireless remote surveillance cameras?
Remote Surveillance Cameras
You can place a small infrared camera at each entrance
to your home. This way you can keep an eye on what’s
going on outside. Any time someone approaches your front,
back or side entrance, you can see them clear as day.
With the infrared remote surveillance cameras, you
can even watch all that goes on outside in the dark
of night. This is an awesome security measure to consider.
It will keep you informed of anyone approaching your
home.
Classic Alarm System
Then there is the classic alarm system. This comes
in many shapes and sizes these days. Try ADT for professional
assistance. Or, you can also install one on your own.
Some even dial into the police station for you. This
is helpful in a pinch.
You can purchase your remote surveillance security
online including from Amazon.com. They offer over 2000
security cameras. You can locate the ideal surveillance
camera that will suit you and your home.
Then you can set up a number of remote surveillance
cameras around your home to keep watch for any uninvited
guests from attacking your possessions and family.
Neighbourhood Watch
You could also talk to your neighbours and find out
if they have problems with burglaries and strange people
loitering in the area. Maybe you can set up a neighbourhood
scheme where you can help each other to keep watch on
all the homes in an area.
This watch can be enhanced with a remote surveillance
security system using infra-red remote controlled cameras
and monitors. These cameras can be placed around the
neighbourhood to detect any unwanted visitors to homes.
By co-operating with your neighbours, you can ensure
that the burglary rate and home invasions are kept to
manageable level, like zero.
For the safety of your home, family and your neighbours.
