Watch Music Videos Online For A Wide Range Of Music

Watch music videos on MTV and online, like YouTube
and MySpace, can provide a wide variety of music to
cater for many tastes. You can watch classic hits from
the 50’s and 60’s to modern hip hop. You
can even watch a conductor with an orchestra go through
the prehistoric classics, including the times of Beethoven
and Mozart. Many types of music to suit many musical
tastes.
These days, you can choose to watch videos online or
on your iPod. You can watch emerging talent on YouTube,
like a young band trying to get recognition and a recording
contract.
Always Make Time To Watch Music Videos
When I was a teenager I devoted a lot of time to hanging
out with my friends, and I would always make time to
watch music videos. In fact, most of my time spent with
friends was devoted to MTV. If we weren’t watching the
station we were talking about what we saw or what we
wanted to see next.
Looking back now I can’t believe I wasted so much time,
but then again, it made me happy so I guess there is
something to be said for that. In any case, at that
time of my life I couldn’t imagine not watching MTV
all the time, and now I couldn’t tell you where it is
on my cable lineup.
Watch Music Videos Into The Night
My friends and I would watch music videos so much that
we could tell you every tiny thing that happened in
the video. This was the age of the eighties hair bands,
and there was at least one guy in each band that we
were madly in love with, though it was rarely the same
guy for each of us. We would watch music videos far
into the night, and would eagerly await a new release.
Thinking back, I realize there are worse things I could
have been doing with my time.
Though I don’t watch music videos on MTV any longer,
my husband turns on some videos on occasion. We might
see some new stuff, and we also watch music videos from
when we were teenagers.
Going Down Memory Lane
It’s almost embarrassing to watch them today, as it
reminds me of how nutty I was about it. I look at the
guys that I thought were so cute back then, and I don’t
understand what I saw in them. If it is up to me, I
never watch music videos any longer, but if they are
on and something good comes on I don’t mind going down
memory lane.
For the kids of today, there are many more ways to
watch music videos. MTV is still there, though I think
it is a joke any more. It’s become almost a parody of
itself. If you are sick of the MTV programming like
I am, you can find another great place to watch music
videos.
Many artists now put their videos up online so that
you can watch them there. They do this for promotional
reasons, much like the reasons they are played on television
music stations.
Music Videos Online
You can visit sites like YouTube and Myspace and see
plenty of music videos. A lot of the artists appearing
on these online videos don’t even have a recording
contract, they just create their music and put it online
as a music video. There are some bands that do not want
a recording contract, as they feel they lose some control
of their music, so they only publicize their music online.
There are artists who want to demonstrate their talents
online to get a recording contract, so they hope recording
companies will watch music videos and recognize their
talent and offer a recording contract. This is why many
unrecorded artists are on YouTube, MySpace and other
video sites.
Watching Emerging Talent Online
When I go to YouTube every now and then, to watch some
of the emerging talent that is available. Some of these
artists are really good, although some are shocking,
but it may be a matter of taste. Although tuning your
musical instrument and singing in tune should not be
a matter of taste.
These days, rather than watching dull crime shows on
tv or out of date music shows on cable, it is far more
entertaining to watch music videos online.
